Walkers and a Great Blue

We took a sunrise walk this morning on River Road, with the softly shining Mystic River beside us. It was wonderful to feel the day waking up as we walked – a little more light with almost every step. We saw what we think was a great blue heron sitting silently on the river

as we silently walked along.
