The beach was overcast, blustery, but beautiful this morning after the storm, the sky full of dark clouds and lovely light…

and here’s a princess in the morning light …

We noticed how much the beach had been transformed by the storm …

… and, as always, I found some fascinating faces staring up at me from the sand …

On this second windswept day, we left the condo around 11:00 and did another laid-back, warmhearted bike ride (round trip, around 10 miles), stopping at the library to check out a few magazines (where I saw some interesting faces staring up at me as I sat on a bench outside) …

and stopping also at The Lighthouse Cafe for perfect barbecued pulled-pork sandwiches.
