Today we did an 11-mile roundtrip bike ride to the Sanibel Library – a true Sanibel treasure – then to the Sanibel Deli for an informal but tasty lunch, then back to the condo. It was a dazzling kind of day: all-blue sky, effortless winds, with temps in the high 60’s – an ideal day for a long, free-and-easy bike ride.

In the early morning, of course, we took out daily walk along the beach, on the search for the usual sunrise light-shows, and also for more of our now-beloved beautiful seashells.
