Rain and Rest

We had a very welcome day of rain today – a chilly shower starting mid-morning and lasting off-and-on most of the day. It brought needed rest and relaxation for us ‘hard working’ retirees. I sat at my computer most of the day and accomplished a lot, making me think I could use a ‘rainy day’ of sorts more often. Delycia did some good work in her office in the morning, and then spent several hours in the afternoon reading and dozing. Now, at 6:08, the sky still looks dark and wet, but the steady showers have stopped.
