This morning, we took a 3-mile walk along the shore at Napatree, in Watch Hill, RI. It’s one of our favorite walks – firm sand at low tide, beautiful vistas on all sides, the easygoing sound of surf, the sight of sails in the distance, and the very big sky scattered endlessly above us. The walk was brisk, as usual, and I was pretty pooped and ready to plop down in our air-conditioned car when we finished, but it was an uplifting escapade, as usual – striding along with my beautiful, zestful wife for 60 enthusiastic minutes.
overlooking the morning’s kingdom a nation of boulders how many billions of years has this rock been sitting here?
